Document File Formats

ProPresenter has three basic file types. These formats are cross compatible between the Mac and Windows versions.

.pro6

This file extension is used on documents found in the Library. If you open up the folder where your Library is stored, you will see files such as “Amazing Grace.pro6”.

.pro6x

This file type is for ProPresenter Bundles. A ProPresenter Bundle is one or more songs exported from the Library that can include media.

.pro6plx

Exported playlists will use this extension. This is similar to the ProPresenter Bundle, but includes additional information specific to the playlist, such as Headers, active arrangements, and the order of documents in the playlist. Note that this might or might not include media, depending on which option the user selected when they exported the playlist.
